Led a robust and complex Contingent Labor program through three generations of added value culminating in a total savings for the corporation in excess of $3M dollars. From a straight negotiation among numerous suppliers to provide revenue-producing temporary labor for IT support, to a negotiation with one supplier who in turn negotiated with three other suppliers to provide both IT as well as Administrative positions in the Contingent Labor Program. Finally negotiated to have a contingent labor tool (MSP) instituted to manage the incoming resources taking into account W-2 / 1099 qualifications, perform necessary vetting activities, and overall allow the company to get the right person for the respective job expediently and securely.Provided demonstrated leadership to a team of professionals on both west and east coast(s) of US in all Supplies and Services contracts, subcontracts, and revision negotiation for the corporation in addition to Global Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Consolidation, Program Implementation, Integration, and Demand Management. All activities performed to establish processes improvement and cost savings. Estimated value of all contracts was in excess of $1B.Transacted contracts with numerous major hotel chains such as Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental, and others to gain best rates for corporate travel program. Also played a lead role in negotiating an annual contract for Senior Leader events held at prestigious venues such as Palm Springs, Pebble Beach Resort, and The Ritz Carlton at Amelia Island in Florida. For any of these events, the travelers’ safety and comfort were always of paramount importance while ensuring that an equitable negotiation was closed successfully.Significant AccomplishmentsSuccessfully initiated and directed activities within multiple sectors of productivity to support CSC in areas such as travel, contingent labor, datacenter operations, security, and facilities management.
