Over a decade of experience improving advisor data and sales tools used by Investment Management sales, marketing and compliance teams to raise over $5 billion in new initial public offering (IPO) proceeds with independent financial advisors and registered investment advisers.Previous roles have included a few years in consulting, where I served the director of professional services for a software start-up, and couple years with two world-wide business consulting firms, where technology solutions needed to work for specific business processes and people that use them.My technology foundation started with my Computer Engineering degree from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). I'm particularly grateful when a web development startup, Renaissance Interactive, hired me as a web developer in 1995. At this time, Netscape was the best web browser, and you paid for it, and I probably knew all the HTML tags you could use, which occasionally still comes in handy when I have to reformat an email template.
