About Martin Ryan

I have 20 years experience in data, analytics and reporting across roles from developer to business analyst to project manager and delivery manager.My ideal role is leading a small team of analytics professionals, e.g. as a data project lead or scrum master. I also slot in well as a senior or strategic business analyst, across data, reporting and analytics. I especially enjoy establishing new teams and capabilities. Recent roles include project managing a new cloud data and reporting platform, leading statistical reporting for the COVID-19 vaccine roll out, building a new business intelligence team, overhauling a management reporting framework and managing annual planning processes. I have experience leading or hands on developing with Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense, ArcGIS, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Excel, VBA, Snowflake and SQL Server. I am scrum certified and I have delivered projects using agile and waterfall methodologies.Outside of work, I have been chipping away at learning Dutch, making slow but steady progress over the last 10 years.
