Store Manager
CurrentManaging all operational aspects of the self-storage facility. Working to targets and company KPIs, business planning, reporting, supervising employees and a strong focus on developing the business and sales. The role has a broad management focus and responsibility and is hands on. The position requires a commercial approach to store operation with the aim of increasing sales.Duties:• Sales – Actively engaging customers and driving the conversion of enquiries into sales, developing and coaching employees to deal professionally with enquiries and sales of storage, merchandise stock and add-ons, performing key analysis of store sales statistics and targets including reviewing actual vs. schedule sales on a regular basis.• Debt Management - Managing and assisting customers with their accounts, resolving and ensuring complaints are dealt with professionally, maintaining an accurate correspondence history with all customers and following up with debtors on a regular basis.• Staff supervision - Developing communication mechanisms to enhance professional team communication between store employees and Head Office, assisting in the recruitment, application and appraisal phases and supporting company training initiatives.• Marketing - Implementing a quarterly store Marketing Plan and regularly engaging in local/community based marketing, developing the store marketing database and identifying opportunities for development.• Store Administration - Maintaining accurate customer records, reconciling store customer accounts and managing accounts receivable, producing financial and business activity reports and managing the receipt of merchandise.• WHS – Ensuring the health and safety of employees and customers, monitoring security systems, arranging regular testing of systems, ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the store and conducting daily checks of the store to identify potential hazards,
