    Having joined the team at Flexipack SA at the conceptual phase of the project, the initial 18 months was spent in assisting with market research, industry sector analysis and competitor review to fully assess the viability of the Cheertainer in to the European packaging market place. In 2005 we set out to acquire funding for the set-up of the company. Manufacturing of the Cheertainer commenced in late 2006 and in line with the business plan we created a network of distributors across Europe assisting them in taking this patented, innovative product to market. Over the past 5 years I have been responsible for creating and maintaining successful distributor partnerships with multinational packaging organisations within UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Sweden and Denmark. With the introduction of the new UN certified Flexible Pack for liquids, the Cheertainer has become a sustainable alternative to the traditional packaging products being used in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors and it has been successfully launched to detergent and lubricant sectors. Other market sectors have included extensive use in Food and Beverage sectors.

Taking the business model from 4 sites to 32 by 2001 and the membership levels from 28,000 to 117,000 members with a membership revenue turnover of £56 million per annum. Sales figures within the sites were consistently above forecast and the business was extremely successful, floating to Plc status in 2000.
