My role at the local outlet charity shop is to take in charitable donations such as clothes, books and useful items, sort them and sell them. The objective of this shop is to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society's charitable endeavors. I work here with enthusiasm, finding it to be a wholesome rewarding experience.

Fixed Contract Graduate Position COMITASS is a technology focused company delivering innovative solutions in the disciplines of Communications, Information, Auxiliary Solutions and Security. I provided IT Support including Staff Helpdesk, Hardware Maintenance, Networking Security in person and over the phone. I headed a number of initiatives, developing the comitass.com website that is in use today and turning a cluttered, store all area into a well needed IT store room with inventory and item sign out procedures in place. I brought a lot of initiative to the role, adding to the workplace where I could. Designing some of their marketing materials and internal document standards.

Fixed Contract Intern Position.Ireland Website Design is a full service digital agency based in Waterford. They help clients to develop and grow their online presence. My role here involved taking clients through the process of developing their sites. From their early phase ideas, brainstorming, development and regular feedback, up to the delivery of the completed website and ongoing support there after. I came to this internship role expecting to learn web development skills. I came away with much more, including an understanding of how a small business is run day to day, how they plan for growth and development, what clients expect and what they appreciate from a small business.
