I am a Senior Program Assistant on the Health Equity and Social Justice team at the National Association of County and City Health Officials. The team works with local health departments to implement equitable community-level systems change. I recently graduated from the University of Maryland where I obtained my B.S. in physiology and neurobiology, a minor in humanities, health, and medicine, as well as a certificate in women, gender, and sexuality studies concentrated on social justice. I have specific interests in maternal child health and reproductive justice and am eager to continue a career in public health that centers health equity.
