The Calgary Police Service (CPS) Gender & Sexual Diversity (GSD) Advisory Board is dedicated to working with the GSD communities to promote effective two-way communication; promote education and awareness; identify and resolve crime and safety concerns; increase police awareness of GSD Communities; and to increase the communities’ awareness of police related issues.The GSD Advisory Board is a volunteer collective of community and CPS members, committed to making the GSD communities in Calgary safer.

SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Language Centre Director (LCD) is responsible for sales and managing the ongoing activities of the Language Centre within company policies and procedures, ensuring quality language instruction,hiring/developing staff and ensuring profitability and plan achievement for financial and non-financial Language Centre goals. The LCD cultivates and acquires new customers. Assures maximum satisfaction of our internal and external customers by managing their expectations in order to achieve the objective of creating long-staying, loyal customers. Supervises and develops the Language Centre staff and is responsible for meeting all performance objectives of the Language Centre.

The Board is the governing authority of the organization and is responsible for directing, influencing, and monitoring the organization's business. Individual Board members also represent the needs, interests, and visions of the communities and organizations involved in the space.
