2024 Best Animated Television/Media Production for Mature AudienceI had the opportunity to contribute to the visual elements of the popular Netflix TV series Big Mouth (Season 07) by painting backgrounds and designing color schemes for locations using Adobe Photoshop. 2023 Nominee Best TV ProductionI had the incredible opportunity to step into the role of Lead Background Painter for the first time. It was an exciting opportunity to join the international paint team and lend a hand halfway through the production. My main responsibility was to review and provide feedback on their work. I took charge of revising backgrounds, locations, and props, while also supporting the background paint supervisor in evaluating artwork for the Vancouver team. Throughout this experience, I learned valuable skills in assigning tasks and providing constructive notes to my team members. It also reinforced my confidence as a leader and allowed me to explore new techniques that could help each artist enhance their painting abilities.

This show marked my debut as a Color Designer, where I had the exciting opportunity to design colors for unique poses, characters, props, effects, and location designs for the popular Netflix production, Oddballs. I collaborated closely with the amazing Color Supervisor, Christina Raygoza. In addition, I skillfully painted scenes based on the provided color keys, ensuring the show's distinctive style was preserved. Initially working from Ottawa, ON, I eventually made the exciting move to Vancouver, BC.
