I am passionate about helping folks achieve their goals, particularly for values-driven social enterprises and campaigns. I've been an executive director, a campaign leader, a strategist, new business lead, and a manager for projects in Maine, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Washington DC. My journey has taken me from Maine to Boston to DC to Russia and Asia, and back again.My passions are in creating great cities and towns, protecting freedom of speech and journalism, supporting Main Street small businesses, walking, biking, and making streets safe for all. All of these passions are about bringing people together in the real world.I build strategies through listening, keeping an open mind and dialogue, building trust, and moving the team on the consensus. My management style is to give people the tools to be successful and then coach them through the experience as they learn to do it on their own. I'm a proud parent, spouse, brother, and friend. After almost two decades working internationally and living in Boston and DC, I'm back in the place where I grew up, Portland, Maine. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering to help make Portland a better place for humans, not cars.
