About Myra Wong
Renewable energy and technology are my passions, as I've been in the wind industry for 13 years in various technical roles with increasing leadership responsibilities. I am currently evaluating and de-risking wind turbine technology for Invenergy's offshore wind project developments in the US East and West Coasts and globally. Prior to my current role, I spent 11.5 years working at GE Renewable Energy's Onshore Wind business. I led the Services Systems Engineering team in the Onshore Wind business, managing a global team of systems, serviceability, performance, loads, operability, validation, and certification engineers designing repowering and performance upgrade solutions for installed base onshore wind turbines. Previously, I led the North America Fleet Performance Engineering team to diagnose and resolve technical issues resulting in lost availability and performance in GE's onshore wind fleet under contract. Prior to that, I was a Systems Engineer for the 2MW-116 products, Program Manager for GE's 2MW Onshore Wind products, a Micrositing and Applications Engineer for Onshore Wind, and completed rotations in Product Service Engineering, Wind Applications Engineering, Field Services, and Wind Operations as part of the Renewable Energy Development Program. My interests are in developing global sustainable energy and infrastructure solutions from a systems approach, combining my love of technology and business strategy.
Listed skills include Matlab, Renewable Energy, Energy, Wind Turbines, and 5 others.
