Responsible for working with attorneys and case managers in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of various immigration and nationality law matters. Prepare immigration cases as assigned by manager for submittal to the appropriate government agency. Work closely with manager to manage cases and to meet monthly filing goals. Understand the procedures and documentation required for cases to be filed successfully and following BAL’s service standards. Work with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely manner. Prepare forms according to information received from clients. Prepare letters and other documents on behalf of the employer/client. Finalize documents after review by Practice Manager, Team Manager and/or Attorney, ensuring all deadlines are met. Provide information and assistance to clients regarding legal procedures. Update database(s) and utilize case preparation/management tools effectively and efficiently. Monitor status of all filed applications and petitions. Run reports to assist in managing own caseload.

Responsible for data entry using new import system database, AS 400. Conduct import security filings and generate arrival notices with collect charges to the custom brokers. Ensure all U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) trade laws and regulations are met while coordinating with the CBP and steamship terminals for cargo clearance status. Release cargo to brokers after clearing all examinations charges if applicable. Prepare delivery order for the Operation Center to arrange for pick-up and delivery of cargo. Issue billing invoice and follow up with Accounts Receivable. Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports for special handling clients. Prepare reports and presentations for clients during quarterly business reviews. Coordinate with oversea branches and prepare quotations.
