Remote

As a remote video editor, I receive raw video files via Microsoft OneDrive and edit weekly announcement videos and short-form video content to be posted on Facebook and YouTube six days a week. Final Cut Pro X is the software used to allow for template-based video post-production. Video announcements are always approved and sent to my supervisor, while the short-form videos are lightly edited, quickly scheduled, and posted on their respective social platforms.Career Highlights:- Dramatically scaled up video content quality to bring forth a better “face” for social media.

Produce live events via in-person and live stream (Microsoft Teams | Facebook Live). Event production includes using PTZ optics cameras for switching with the use of a Blackmagic Design Switcher. PowerPoint and ProPresenter are utilized for visual presenter support. An Allen & Heath SQ-6 provides sound reinforcement to mix for bands, and presenters, and for a live stream mix as well. When events are not taking place, I produce a video podcast and edit via Adobe Premiere and Audition. I collaborate with stakeholders throughout the year on video projects for their specific departments. Our Video Studio operates primarily with Blackmagic Design 4K cameras and an ATEM switcher. After each shoot, I post-produce videos to provide stakeholders with a final quality package.Career Highlights:- Installation of a versatile video studio featuring all new gear, a control room, and two separate locations for video shoots.- Provide updated sound reinforcement to two new organizational locations to expand for meeting and presentation use.- Enforce SOPs within the organization as directed by the IT and Communications department to provide uniformity across all employees.

The purpose of this role was to provide distraction-free production each Wednesday, Sunday, and special events. As the director, I served in a supervisory role to lead a video team to run cameras, lights, presentation, photography, FOH sound, and tech director. Each Sunday, production consisted of a team of about ten people to stream via IMAG and live stream. During the week, I made weekly videos for social media along with announcement videos for every Sunday service with Final Cut Pro X as the primary tool. Leading a team and producing high-quality live events allowed creativity to flourish across all team members.Career Highlights:- Installation of an Absen LED wall in August 2020- Connected with people to continually grow the team that rotated weekly- Increased the quality of the organization’s live stream for a better viewing experience- Partnered with other churches and organizations for mass community care; created some highlight videos for these events that made the local news.- Ran FOH and hosted some smaller celebrities for concerts and guest speakers - Installed a new studio space for live stream presenters
