Works for the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport since 1995, where he reached the post of the Dean of the College of International Transport and Logistics (Sept 2013 - July, 2016), and the academic title of Professor of Commercial (April 1, 2013). Visiting professor to Alexandria (Law and Commerce Colleges, 2010-2012) and Nantes Universities (France, 1910), and was in secondment to the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2012-2013). Arbitrator at the Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, and in practice before both chambers, that of Alexandria (Cases: 23/2008 25/2009; 26/2009; and 31/2011), and Cairo (Cases: 265/2001; 700/2010 and 1008/2014 1010/2014 and 1034/2015). Resource Person, African Union Commission, in the occasion of the signing of the African Maritime Transport Charter, during the 2010 October Durban Ministerial Conference, in South Africa.
