Over the course of the CBYX, US Department of State-funded scholarship, I was able to spend a year immersed in European culture and gained first-hand interning at two embassies in the German capital. The dynamic experience afforded me keen insight and a lasting interest in US-EU relations, as well as in North America's own international dynamics. The year highlighted my readiness to adapt, my ability to excel in unfamiliar places and cultures, and my appetite for adventure.
