• Successfully orchestrated the migration of a legacy application to a microservices architecture leveraging Python and AWS technologies. Implemented a streamlined process with five Lambdas orchestrated within a Step Function. Through UI integration via API Gateway Resolver, Lambdas were orchestrated to validate requests, perform various validations, retrieve account and holdings information, set prices, check account restrictions, and process transactions—all while updating DynamoDB records. The frontend was built with Angular and TypeScript. Concurrently, maintained legacy applications using Java.• Developed cron jobs to automate post-transaction tasks, such as applying restrictions to accounts and transferring leftover funds or shares, reducing manual effort and operational overhead.• Utilized AWS Lambda and EventBridge for efficient code maintenance and streamlined processing of after-hours requests, reducing manual effort.• Implemented DynamoDB as the primary data store, optimizing data retrieval and storage. Used Amazon S3 to store images and CloudWatch for monitoring logs. Additionally, employed EC2 instances for deployment and Step Functions for orchestrating workflows.
