As a Deputy Chief in the U.S. Marshals Service with over 21 years of distinguished service, I’ve had the privilege of leading and overseeing high-profile investigations and operations that protect and serve our nation. My career has been defined by my ability to manage complex programs, lead cross-functional teams, and navigate the intricate details of multi-million-dollar budgets across various fund allocations. Throughout my tenure, I have specialized in inter-agency collaboration, high-stakes case management, and policy development, with a particular focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring the success of critical national programs.I hold a Top-Secret Security Clearance and have overseen budgets exceeding $12 million across multiple national initiatives, including the Confidential Source Program, Federal Escapee Program, and Cold and Complex Case Program. I have led teams of Senior Inspectors, Temporary Duty employees, and contractors, all while ensuring compliance with federal standards and improving operational outcomes. One of my proudest accomplishments was working with Interpol to establish the International Most Wanted Program, which has enhanced global law enforcement collaboration on fugitive apprehension.In addition to my leadership in investigative programs, I have spearheaded nationwide sex offender compliance operations, guiding over 70 missions to ensure adherence to both state and federal regulations. My work in this area has not only contributed to the safety of our communities but has also played a key role in shaping policies at the state and national levels.At the core of my work is a dedication to continuous improvement—whether it’s through reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures, driving data-driven oversight of operations, or training the next generation of U.S. Marshals.
