My role at Action Against Hunger was to support the busy communications team to ensure all digital content is up to date, accurate and engaging. Within the close-knit communications team I took on more responsibilities, which has in turn allowed me to learn more. My duties ranged from content creation for the various social media channels, as well as supporting all digital marketing activity, and website updating as the charity were in the process of changing their digital communications. Alongside these responsibilities I also had the opportunity to create and publish content through the Drupal Content Management system. Which included creating and uploading engaging content, Sourcing and resizing suitable images and making sure content was search engine optimised.
