I have editorial oversight of the work of award-winning data storytelling studio Kontinentalist. I help ensure the consistency of the brand’s voice across its products and services. Together with my colleagues, I write, develop, and edit data stories for the publication, centring Asia in global conversations. My work with Kontinentalist has won awards at.

I regularly speak in and moderate discussions related to my fields of expertise in Singapore and Southeast Asia. My works have been presented in Singapore and London by theatre companies such as The Necessary Stage, Teater Ekamatra, T:>works, The Theatre Practice and Bhumi Collective. My play ANGKAT won three Life Theatre Awards in 2020, including Best Original Script. It is also an official text studied in the National University of Singapore's Singapore English.

I supervised an Art Projects team for BA Arts Management programme 2021-2022. I designed and taught a 7-week art review clinic for the Art Research and Writing module as part of the BA Arts Management programme from 2020-2023. I taught Critical Thinking Skills for the Fine Arts diploma programme in 2021.

I taught playwriting at the BA level for the course Playwriting and Directing as part of the unit 'Performance Practice: Critical and Conceptual Frameworks'. I designed the new Fundamentals of Playwriting course for students taking their Diploma in Theatre (English Drama). I taught the course in 2019 and 2021.

I was the editor of ArtsEquator, where I wrote, edited and published 200-300 pieces of content a year, working with creatives across the region. I co-hosted a regular podcast about Singapore theatre. I also mentored emerging writers from Southeast Asia. A thought leader in the region, ArtsEquator has partnered institutions in Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Sweden.

I covered the arts beat at The Straits Times Life, Singapore's main English language newspaper. My interests lie in the current developments in the local theatre and dance scene. I also reviewed theatre and dance performances and authored travel pieces.

I was a producer and reporter for Channel NewsAsia, an Asia-Pacific news network with an international presence across 24 markets, focusing on Singapore-centric art, culture and heritage stories.

I crafted and executed below-the-line marketing and publicity strategies for the Museum's exhibitions and programmes, and managed exhibition openings. I worked on the marketing and publicity for the Singapore Biennale 2013. I also handled online community management and content curation.

I conceptualised and executed PR strategies for heritage institutions within the National Heritage Board such as the Preservation of Monuments Board and Malay Heritage Centre. Additionally, I edited NHB's monthly e-newsletter and contributed to our heritage portal, yesterday.sg.

I managed clients, Philips and Dell, and helped conduct strategic research for Nokia.

I crafted and executed marketing communications campaigns for projects such as NOISE Singapore Festival, VOILAH! French Festival Singapore and F1 The First Night Race on Orchard Road. I also organised the inaugural NOISE Talks 2010, a creative youth conference with speakers such as Zee Avi.

I assisted in the public relations campaign for Month of Photography Asia 2009, pitching and arranging media interviews for photographers such as Steve McCurry, Francois Huguier and Bertrand Meunier.

I assisted in the public relations campaigns for CIMB, Ministry of Manpower and Singapore Sports Council.

While still in school, I ran my own cafe with 3 partners, including a current Michelin star chef. We also organised concerts and events. I was the finance director, and was also involved in its daily operations, including managing a team of employees.

I processed over 3000 audit confirmations requests and managed the client database.

I reviewed customer feedback from new Asian markets and helped to identify teething problems and solutions for Yahoo! Products.
