Zimbabwe

• Led a team of 7 ICRC delegates and officers on field trips and detention visits on a regular basis• Assessed the health, nutritional, water, habitat, sanitation, judicial guarantees, and economic security situation in over 20 prisons in 4 provinces in Zimbabwe• Served in an advisory and supportive role to the Zimbabwe Prison Service• Assessed and protected against physical and sexual abuse in prisons• Monitored and provided assistance to vulnerable groups such as females, minors, and mentally ill in prisons• Liaised and coordinated with government authorities, civil society, and national Red Cross chapters• Assessed and coordinated dissemination of food and non food items to prisons as needs arise• Prepared and planned workshops and events for the Zimbabwe Prison Services • Served as second in charge, lead the office in the absence of the Head of Sub-delegation in Bulawayo
