As a project manager my primary tasks are to support innovative thinking, facilitate new projects and create results with an impact, so Denmark and the Danish industry can become better at preventing cybercrime.In my work I collaborate with universities, RTO's, small and big private companies, industry organizations and public institutions with the aim to create great solutions for the private sector. The Industry Foundation is an philanthropical foundation so we support projects that can have a huge impact and therefore risk adverse. My primary tasks at LCIK in the Section of Crime Prevention have an external focus. I collaborate with public and private stakeholders who have an interest in minimizing cybercrime and together we try to find new and innovative solutions to prevent an increase in crime in this area. My main responsibilities are the development and operation of the forum FIT (Forum against economic it-crime) and LCIK advisory expert board.

One of my main tasks is evaluation of innovative activities here at DTU. There is a lot of focus of effect of what we do in general and my primary discipline is to evaluate different activities quantitatively and qualitatively. I try on different levels to identify and visualize how our activities enhance innovation for the industry, students and teachers. This results in reports, articles and presentations. Furthermore, I have a number of different tasks about increasing the level of innovation and sustainability here at DTU Diplom by supporting or starting different initiatives that inspire to more innovation and sustainability e.g workshops and seminars. I also do public presentations about DTU innovation and sustainability and I have taught in evaluation for Diploma Graduates.

My postdoc project is about publicly funded R&D projects from the energy sector and innovative performance. The backbone of this research is public funded R&D network projects from three different programmes. The supported R&D network projects often consist of different sources of knowledge from universities to private firms and the aim of the collaboration is exploring new energy technologies that can meet the future energy demands. This means that the majority of the R&D network projects are explorative in the creation of new energy solutions and technologies and they are therefore ideal when examining the relationship between the R&D network structure and conducts and innovative performance.

Odense Area, Denmark

My PhD-project is about energy innovation in the Danish energy sector. The project works with innovation on a program level where it investigates how new energy projects can become more efficient. The methodological approaches are both qualitative and quantitative.

In my spare time I was a mentor for exchange students from various countries in Europe. I helped them to settle down nicely in Denmark and on campus. I liked this job very much and I thought that it was inspiring and exciting to meet new people from other countries.

For three years I have had a job as recruiting coordinator at Post Denmark, where my main responsibilities was to recruit new employees to the department and provide all the practicality of recruitment from the administrative to the training. Here I have strengthened my skills and experience in communication, coordination, planning for long-term process, and handling pressure situations. It was an exciting job in a young and dynamic environment where the challenges were useful and interesting.
