I am a driven Biomedical Science and Health Science Master's Student with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science & Science (Biotechnology Major) background equipped with a solid academic foundation and a diverse skill set cultivated through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience. I am passionate about advancing healthcare through research and innovation.Thriving in academic pursuits, I have undertaken units spanning multiple different fields including Biotechnology, population health, Infectious Diseases, Therapeutics, Cancer Biology, Cardiovascular biology and Metabolism, in addition to intensive research training, biostatistics and ethics. In my Biomedical Science and Health Science Master's program, I've cultivated a diverse skill set through coursework, including; biostatistics, critical thinking, scientific report writing, critical thinking, experimental design, leadership and teamwork capabilities and presentation and public speaking skills.Currently in the final year of my Master's, specialising in Biomedical and Health Sciences, I recently completed a dynamic 9-month research project at Monash University's Department of Physiology. I conducted in vivo and in vitro assessments of a novel therapeutic target's impact on renal function. I honed critical thinking and communication skills, synthesising findings into actionable insights. This was an invaluable experience for me to develop my hands-on skills and experience novel techniques in renal and cardiovascular research.I am eager to leverage my knowledge and skills to catalyse innovation in the biomedical industry.
