I have experience or working as a researcher, lecturer and External Examiner for academic programmes in English language and Clinical Language sciences based in the UK and Greece.My clinical experience includes independent and NHS work as a Speech and Language Therapist, working with children and young people (ages 2 years - 15 years) with a range of communication disorders, for example: speech and language delays and disorders, developmental language disorder (DLD), autistic spectrum disorder/condition (ASD/ASC), among others.I have worked in a range of clinical and education settings, including home settings, early years settings, mainstream education settings and language units. I currently offer support to children in early years settings and an Independent school in Cambridge. My special interests lie in the area of early years and multilingualism, supporting families of children with or without speech and language disorders to raise them bilingually/multilingually; I have been developing my interest, expertise and skills in the area of diagnosis and support of autistic individuals and individuals with additional mental health challenges. I am also member of the Clinical Excellence Network SALTS on the Same Team, which helps promote collaborative practice between SALTs in the independent and public sector. I strongly believe in a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy. I enjoy connecting with individuals of all ages, and strive to make a difference to their lives by helping them discover their communication potential and contributing to their wellbeing.
