Target customers include OEMs & ODMs manufacturing smart phones & Tablets.• Key achievements: Set up the basic ecosystem by connecting software & hardware design houses in India & Taiwan with OEMs. Initiated new OMAP based reference designs at ODMs.• More than 10 new customers added on OMAP in 6 months time.

• Responsible: for software product requirement definition, development roadmap, market study & marketing strategy for Android on OMAP3/OMAP4/OMAP5 platforms. Work with business development team to support new customer design-ins. Interfacing with partners for developing the software ecosystem around OMAP. Driving the software development with Project Management & Dev teams. Responsible for managing the license agreements/IP tracking with customer & partners.• Key Achievements: Helped win multiple smart phone customer projects in China, Taiwan, Korea & USA. Many products are in market today.

• Responsible: for leading a team for development of Multimedia framework, DSP codecs for Audio & Video. Tasks included project planning, giving technical direction to the team on development, architecture & design for the multimedia software.• Key Achievements: Streamlined the development process to reduce the overhead by 40%. Designed multimedia framework for real-time image/video/audio processing in Linux/Symbian/Windows/Android for OMAP family of processors which used is in many products in market today. Set up & moderated the OpenSource multi media project for OMAP: https://gforge.ti.com/gf/project/openmax/

• Responsible: Worked on Symbian Multimedia software development/porting on customer hardware (smart phones). Worked as Technical lead managing a team of 7 engineers.• Key Achievements: Productized the software on multiple customer products. Developed new framework to test/debug DSP software. Standardized the porting process to reduce the time to market for new products.

Worked in fields of MPEG2, MPEG4, Networking and Device Drivers in Linux. Developed an efficient rate-control algorithm for MPEG4. This was made a IP for the company.
