I like programming. I like gaming. So, what better than be a game programmer, right? Not quite.I had expected my Computer Science education to improve my critical thinking and analytical skills, but rather unexpectedly, it greatly boosted my general aptitude to boot. I became able to talk with others, and think, about topics far removed from my own specializations, and this in turn opened my mind to exciting avenues from writing storytelling and art, to design and interactive systems. The skills required to start out as a game designer, in short.It is with this ambition of eventually becoming a game designer that I have started out as a game programmer, to get better understanding of gaming systems, to collaborate with other game developers and gain better insights into their specializations.
