About Neil A. Lefmann, Mai, Sra
Neil is an appraisal industry veteran with 50 years of experience in valuing nearly all property types throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. He has an extensive condemnation and expert witness background, including work related to many of Silicon Valley’s major transportation and other public works projects. His practice also focuses on ranch, open space & habitat preservation lands, diminution appraisals, and unique or especially complex appraisal problems.Neil was awarded the SRA and SRPA designations of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers in 1978, and the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute in 1983. He has volunteered countless hours to the AI and previously been the Northern California Chapter president in 2003. He has also served for many years on the AI California Government Relations Committee, the AI National Peer Review Committee, and as a Regional Representative. Additionally, Neil is a California broker, having maintained that license since 1972.
