The volunteer position with Special Olympics involves podiatric screening of athletes during the sports events. The events are conducted with support from the national office and coordinated with state chapters. Clinical volunteers from Physiotherapy/ Medical/ Health science help in the screening of the foot.

I work at Ekjut as a Project Manager on MNCHN issues in Jharkhand. The project was for a duration of 2.5 yrs and it was focused on creating a center of excellence on community mobilisation using Participatory Learning and Action(PLA) cycle as a method of intervention for the capacity building of the ASHAs in Jharkhand. The project was accomplished with creating sustainable impact on the health workers and community capacity building on identification of danger signs, seeking appropriate level of care and strategies to mitigate the problem solving.

I worked at the foundation learning more on developmental disabilities, there identification, rehabilitation of children and adults, family based therapy and many other areas of physical and functional rehabilitation. The work accomplishment with the foundation has given me a broad understanding of disabilities and how its relates to the healthy well being of the individuals. From here I started working on improving the Quality of Life of individuals and improving healthy behaviors for a sustained healthy well being.
