1. USAID’s Climate Resilient Agriculture in the Mekong Delta project helps to reduce vulnerabilities to economic shifts and natural disasters driven by climate change.2. VN-ADAPT EUR 15 million funded by Germany - BMUV/IKI overarching goal is to increase climate resilience through wide-scale adoption of Nature based Solution in line with VNM’s national & international climate & biodiversity objectives. VN-ADAPT contributes to this by improving the institutional capacity & enabling framework for private participation & financial investment in NbS in the agriculture sector, with a focus on two climate vulnerable landscapes.3. The DFCD contributes to addressing the global climate adaptation finance gap by providing a EUR 160 million fund for priority climate threatened landscapes in developing countries. The role of SNV and WWF is to originate bankable climate (water and land use) projects with the private sector for investment by the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) and Climate Fund Managers (CFM).4. The NDC Partnership is delivering targeted, fast-track support to countries to enhance the quality, increase the ambition, and implement nationally determined contributions (or NDCs), as part of the 2020 update process.5. Interim Sector Leader: leading, managing, and overseeing SNV's portfolio of 10 projects valued at €35 million in the country. Guide the strategic orientation and development of the sector at the country level, aligning with SNV's global Agri-food strategy. Ensuring the implementation of high-quality projects and sector performance.6. The Café REDD project aims to reduce deforestation/forest degradation and promote forest landscape restoration through coffee-agroforestry solutions in Viet Nam’s Central Highlands. The project adopts a public-private-producer partnership approach by engaging multiple stakeholders in the landscape, including public sector agencies and entities, the private sector, local ethnic minority producers and communities.

“USAID Green Annamites” is USD 24 million Project to assist Vietnam’s transition to climate smart, low emission, and resilient development that protects people, landscapes, and biodiversity and preserves Vietnam’s natural forests. Report directly to Chief of Party. Support the development of appropriate economic incentives, improved livelihoods, development of value chains, direct assistance to vulnerable population farmers, and the development of alternative public and private resources. Lead climate change related activities on increased application of low emissions land use and resilience for vulnerable communities. Design and disburse USD 10.4 million activity fund for annual program statement (APS - grants for private sectors) and indefinite quantity subcontract (IQS) that led to 11.6 million ton of CO2 emission reduction and USD 59.4 million mobilized for sustainable landscape. Manage >8 grants and sub-contracts focus on high tech forest monitoring, endorse concept of carbon payment for forest environmental services (C-PFES), develop first jurisdictional REDD+ program offered by 03 international buyers.
