Nan attended the University of Georgia and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She graduated in three years with an undergraduate degree in Journalism and continued on to Business School, and graduated in 1984 with an MBA in Finance. Nan began her career with Dean Witter, predecessor of Morgan Stanley, and worked there until 1988 when she joined C&S Securities, predecessor of Bank of America/Merrill. She joined Wachovia Securities, predecessor of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2000 and her partner was the late Polly Long Denton. After Polly's sudden passing, Tommy joined Nan and she came full circle, joining Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2016. Nan enjoys walking, cooking, reading and travel.
