I currently teach education coursework and prepare missional educators at a private liberal arts university in West Tennessee. I teach undergraduate and graduate coursework for initial teacher licensure as well as instructional leadership. My areas of interest are literacy, classroom management, children's literature, and current issues/trends impacting the field of education. My current focus is on preparing undergraduate and graduate students to become transformational teachers and school leaders who foster the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of their students in the classroom. In the past, I was employed as a classroom teacher in a public elementary school before moving to the private sector.
