As part of the Teach For America Recruitment Team, my responsibilities as a Campus Campaign Coordinator are to building awareness of Teach For America's brand and issues of educational equity on campus. This includes campus marketing, prospect sourcing, event management/support, and social media marketing. We also attend weekly virtual team meetings and engage in regular professional development, coaching, and feedback conversations.

Participated as an AmeriCorps member in an award-winning network of exceptional college students who work one-to-one to prepare preschool children from low-income neighborhoods for school success.Implemented early childhood curriculum, supported family involvement and promoted skill building through one-to-one relationships with 5 partner preschool children and classroom assistance.Collaborated with a team of 6 Corps members to plan biweekly in-classroom activities for a class of 19 preschool children.Received intensive training and professional development in early childhood theory and practice, language and literacy development, leadership skills, and communication with families.

Assisted with children's story time every Wednesday afternoon by preparing materials and activities for parents and children of age 5-14. Translated story books for parents and children who only understand Spanish.Helped clean up sections of the library as well as place books back on the shelf in the category that they belong in.

Helping Hearts is a non-profit group at UC Irvine that is dedicated to helping the homeless. In this club, we help the homeless by providing various goods and services, which include : water, food, blankets, backpacks, and care packages. We also participate in monthly community service projects such as Laundry Love in which we would attend a Laundromat in the city of Santa Ana on Thursday's nights and assist people of low-income communities with their laundry. This event not only provides the coins, the soap, and the drying sheets but also provides dinner for families.

In this soup kitchen which provides for people in need, I was responsible for: -preparing food by cutting and chopping vegetables and fruits- cleaning the kitchen area and utensils being used- serving food and handing out to go lunch bags -unloading donations and placing them in the section they belong
