It seem that life's path is never a straight road. It is the fork in the road, the curves that make the career successes and failures scenic.- Perryville Presbyterian church, Perryville, MO 2012-present. I entered this pastorate after half the congregation left over the controversy of ordination of people identifying as LGBTQ. I Led discussion groups and Bible studies on tolerance and inclusivity. Directed individuals in healing and reconciliation with family and neighbors who did not agree with the policy of the PCUSA church to ordain all men and women who wished to offer their gifts and talents to the church.-Farmington Presbyterian Church, Farmington, MO 2002-2004 Lutesville Presbyterian Church, Marable Hill MO1993-2001 ,Perryville Presbyterian Church.-church administration, preaching, writing for local newspapers. Increased local participation in service and mission programs. -St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, MO 2002-2012 On Call Chaplain experience including integration between the medical and spiritual cultures.-Crown Hospice,Cape Girardeau, MO 2008-2012, Bereavement counselor, Volunteer Coordinator. Created and directed program for 13 month bereavement follow-up family care. Created and developed volunteer program including 25 visiting specialists and network of supporting groups.-Community Counseling Center, Cape Girardeau, MO 2004-2008, coordinate juvenile services with Division of Family Services, counselors and therapists and psychologists. Taught behavioral cognitive therapy for children, youth and family members in extreme emotional crisis.-White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, Wilmington, DE 1987-1993. Developed full time youth ministry. Increased youth attendance 40%. Developed program for family integration social curriculum.-Farris Advertising, Kansas City, MO 1980-1983. Worked in all areas of the agency including; copy writing, art production, print and TV advertising creation.
