Assisted with the training and supervising of 10 employees in the Administration Department, which handled all of the human resource aspects of the Census Bureau of Macomb County, Michigan. My team and I interviewed and hired 2,000 applicants, monitored applicants who cleared the background process, and contacted them to complete onboarding forms. Generated hiring documents, set up multiple training sessions, assigned applicants to training, input onboarding documents, generated reports, and processed payroll for all employees. Answered employee questions, provided information and support to the Field Department and the Chicago Regional Census Center, and was responsible for inputting terminations and resignations.Key Results:● Provided human resource support to eight census field managers and hundreds of subordinates.● Contributed to the success of the best-enumerated county in the United States.● Census Field Supervisor: Trained 10 employees to become Enumerators in the U.S. Census Bureau and supervised these employees, who canvassed thousands of houses. Responsible for verifying the amount of work and accuracy completed each day while addressing any issues.
