This section is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and ongoing refinement of critical interfaces essential to accomplishing the development, delivery and refresh of MCA/ DSS clinical reports/cubes/dashboards. These provide vital information to multiple national clinical program offices at the VACO Senior Leadership, National Clinical Program Leadership, Chief Executive Officers, VISN Directors, Facility Directors and Program Director levels. Nancy engages with a diverse cross section of VHA National and Network program office officials on a consistent and recurring basis to design, develop and deliver national information and reporting for VHA strategic initiatives and planning, clinical workload, electronic performance measures, resource utilization and cost capture. Additionally, she provides guidance and oversight for the drafting and completing responses from my section for requests that originate with Congress, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Office of Inspector General (OIG). Ms Lapointe leads the section to meet the clinical information needs of Department of Veterans Affairs VACO Leadership, National VHA, VBA and NCA Executives, National Program Offices and Joint Venture Initiatives with the Department of Defense (DOD). Nancy is an active DEMPS Volunteer. She travels throughout the country to support emergency missions for medical relief after a National Disasters, such as a Hurricane or Earthquake.
