Senior Pastor of a large, downtown church adjacent to the University of Michigan. My primary responsibilities are those of an Executive Director in a non-profit organization. I am responsible for vision casting, strategic planning, goal setting, oversight of $1.4 million budget, financial planning, fundraising, facilities oversight, supervision of 19 staff members. I work with a volunteer board called the Leadership Council as well as the finance, personnel, building, and nominations committees. In addition, I preach and teach, provide spiritual care and counseling, and connect to the local community.

As associate pastor, I initially had primary responsibility for congregational and pastoral care of a 1,000 member church. However, my position changed over time to include volunteer development, membership development, preaching, teaching, curriculum consultation, and Adult Faith Formation.
