Provide technical expertise and system administration on multiple information systems running operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, as well as a variety of other application software products required to support the Local Area Networks (LAN). Plan, coordinate and conduct the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software systems in the standalone, wired and virtual configurations. Manage local accounts, network connectivity, and access to systems and equipment. Resolve specific hardware and software problems on organization desktop, laptop and notebook computers. Ensure system functionality, integrity, and efficiency for all workstation operating systems, desktop applications, and electronic messaging software. Local trouble ticketing system to track significant issues and events in order to facilitate trend analysis and customer needs. Analyze trends in the nature and level of demands for organizational services. Utilize acquired knowledge to balance user requirements, available resources and organizational goals and objectives while striving to maintain top quality customer service. Implement established system security procedures and coordinates with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Apply system security vulnerability patches to desktop and server operating systems and various end user applications. Install, configure, and update networked-servers, virtualized-servers, and SANs in support of business processing requirements.
