My name is Nancy Phan. I was born and raised in Oakland, CA. After graduating high school in 2012, I started my youth development work at Youth Together for over 5 years, while being a full-time student. I ended my time at Youth Together as their Administrative Assistant. I previously worked for OUSD (Oakland Unified School District) as a Bilingual Attendance Specialist at my alma mater. I am now back at Youth Together doing organizing work as the Director of Programs.My passion is working with young people especially those from my hometown, to advocate for them as they navigate what their personal success looks like. Although that is my passion, I understand that there are many ways to give back to my community through different professions. I am very hardworking and able to adapt to every situation placed in.
