As a food business, the closures created an opportunity to serve our healthcare systems since there is less access to healthful meals, particularly to night teams. I am one of 3 three small food businesses (minority, veteran and/or woman-owned) that created FOOD FOR IMPACT+. We are now providing healthful meals to healthcare teams and first responders for FREE (if they are not able to pay) or AT-COST (if they are able to pay).
