About Nancy Shea
Nancy Shea, MA Special Education, Columbia University, has worked in the field supporting staff and individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (IDD) for over 35 years. For 30 years, Nancy has worked as a manager, curriculum and program developer, training specialist, and talent developer for the YAI Network, one of the largest not-for-profit agencies in the country. Nancy has developed a number of curricula addressing the skill building needs of people with developmental disabilities as well as curricula to train staff who work with the IDD population. For more than a decade, Nancy has concentrated her trainings on performance appraisal, team management, talent development and emerging leadership, which has helped hundreds of staff improve their output and enhance their potential for growth opportunities.
