• Leads the development, implementation, and revision of strategic plans for community outreach, partnership development, and volunteer engagement. • Identifies social vulnerabilities, areas of existing community health resilience, and opportunities for increasing resilience within Boston’s neighborhoods before, during, and after an emergency. • Develops long-standing, successful relationships with community outreach leaders and organizations, and resource providers who are committed to supporting emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts. • Develops training workshops and educational content utilizing OPHP’s “Ready, Safe, Healthy” model. • Coordinates social media presence and content development for dissemination to community partners and residents. • Assists with the development of policies and protocols for supporting community partners and BPHC employees during the response and recovery phases of an incident. • Ensures that project goals and objectives are consistent with both federal and state grant guidance.• Develops grant proposals designed to support community resilience. • Collaborates regularly with OPHP leadership and staff to ensure coordination and support among all OPHP programs and projects. • Staffs the Stephen M. Lawlor Medical Intelligence Center during emergencies that impact public health and healthcare. • Represents OPHP at meetings, conferences, and other events as needed. • Participates in trainings and other educational opportunities to enhance knowledge of emergency preparedness, response, and recovery field.
