In addition, my articles, essays, and short stories have been published in print and online magazines.The host of the Living the Writing Life podcast and founder of the annual “Midlife Moxie” Day and “Celebrate Short Fiction” Day, I teach writing workshops at conferences, libraries, and schools. I’m a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), the Florida Writers Association (FWA) and the Women’s Fiction Writers Association (WFWA). I'm also an experienced freelance copywriter for corporations, agencies and non-profits, developing editorial and marketing content for custom and trade publications, websites and blogs, and internal and external communications materials, for industries ranging from manufacturing and retail to B2B/B2C and health/social services. I also work with authors and publicists to help develop book promotion and press kit materials.My writing ability is complemented by my interviewing skills, enabling me to connect with my subjects and present their stories in an interesting and informative way.
