After a professional dance career that included creating entertainment for corporate and private events, performing in dance companies, and touring the world as a master dance teacher, I now turn to writing and producing as my new creative outlet. I have written two children’s books and am currently collaborating on several projects with my husband, film-maker Charles Yurick. After 30+ years as residents of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, we are now happily living in Connecticut.

Set in Cold War East Berlin, Radio 930 is inspired by true events. It is based on the premise that rock music, and the freedom that it represented, was a window to the West for thousands living in repressed societies. The music is credited with inspiring young people to demand social and political change.
I am currently a creator and co-producer of RADIO 930, a project that began as a touring dance show in 2011, and has developed into a book musical. The show is set in East Berlin, 1981. The story is inspired by true events - how rock music was a factor in bringing down the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe.
