Set in Cold War East Berlin, Radio 930 is inspired by true events. It is based on the premise that rock music, and the freedom that it represented, was a window to the West for thousands living in repressed societies. The music is credited with inspiring young people to demand social and political change.

I am currently a creator and co-producer of RADIO 930, a project that began as a touring dance show in 2011, and has developed into a book musical. The show is set in East Berlin, 1981. The story is inspired by true events - how rock music was a factor in bringing down the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe.
