Research on Fire Fuel Breaks for Wildfire Mitigation- My research explores fire fuel breaks—strategically managed areas that disrupt fire spread by reducing fuel continuity. By examining optimal placement, vegetation types, and management, I aim to develop effective strategies for wildfire containment. -Using UNIX systems to compile data and Tecplot for visualization, I analyze key fire behavior parameters (temperature, heat release rate, rate of spread ROS, etc.), while investigating how height, the solid volume fraction (α), and other variables affect fire dynamics.-This work integrates environmental science and engineering, contributing critical insights toward safer, more resilient landscapes amid increasing wildfire risks.

During my internship, I developed a thorough understanding of solar panel systems, including their components and how they operate. I gained practical experience in designing, installing, and maintaining these systems, as well as analyzing their performance. This experience not only deepened my knowledge of renewable energy and its environmental impact but also improved my project management skills and familiarity with regulatory and economic aspects of solar energy,enhancing my overall design capabilities and technical expertise in sustainable technologies.

Served as an usher at an engineering summer camp for 5 weeks, where we supervised 40 students each week. We involved them in various experiments such as airfoil design, drag force testing in a wind tunnel, concrete mixing, manufacturing processes, robotic gripper design, soldering techniques, petroleum drilling simulation, and ergonomics studies. This experience gave me a comprehensive overview of different engineering disciplines and hands-on applications. This role provided me with a broad understanding of various engineering fields and their practical applications.
