The Silicon Valley Leadership Group, founded in 1978 by David Packard of Hewlett-Packard, represents nearly 400 of Silicon Valley's most respected employers on public policy issues, programs and campaigns that affect the economic health and quality of life in Silicon Valley. The Leadership Group focuses on key issues of importance including economic vitality, education, energy, environment, health care, housing, innovation and technology, transportation and taxation. Its members collectively provide nearly one of every three private sector jobs in Silicon Valley and have more than $3 trillion in annual revenue.

Supported public relations initiatives for Microsoft Silicon Valley Philanthropy, Microsoft, LinkedIn, eBay and SurveyMonkey. Responsibilities included media relations, interview briefing materials, speaking program support, story ideas, campaign strategy and more. As an Account Coordinator I supported eBay Sellers, eBay Local, Microsoft Silicon Valley Philanthropy and LinkedIn's product and engineering teams.

Coordinated multiple events and initiatives to increase awareness of environmental services and inform multi-cultural audiences about the billion dollar City plan to rebuild the water pollution control plant. In addition, I managed logistics for regional community workshops to obtain input from stakeholders on the proposed use of the City's 2,600-acre land property.

Managed the scholarship program consisting of applicant recruitment, program promotion, managing finalists and volunteer committee, handled sponsor relations and media appearances. I had the opportunity to work closely with the community, students, volunteers, community leaders and advocates in San Mateo County.Festival proceeds benefit many youth programs of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and provide scholarships for students striving to further their education.

Provided support for production of TV talk show Encuentro en la Bahía, managed the Éxito Escolar scholarship program, translated FCC reports and assisted with the monthly community affairs newsletter.
