As a Compliance and Ethics Officer, I am continually intrigued by the marriage of social science research and compliance: what motivates people to do what they do? How can we make it easier for people to do the "right thing"? Research done by people like Dan and Chip Heath, Daniel Pink, Dan Ariely, and Dov Seidman have been helpful in designing a program that is designed to build the structure and processes and environment that helps employees be compliant.
