-Co-located at community college campuses to assist students experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness with accessing mainstream or CES resources to end their housing crisis-Minimize barriers to accessing CES or other solutions (e.g., transportation, schedule conflicts with classes) and can provide direct services for students, including administration of CES Assessments and assistance with community resources and referrals-Interview and evaluate participants to identify social, emotional, and economic factors, in order to provide participant centered, trauma-informed supportive services-Utilize culturally relevant active listening, problem-solving, and motivational interviewing with participants to support them to access temporary or permanent housing solutions outside of the CES-Provide mediation between households and/or property owners/landlords/family/friends to assist in resolving housing crisis-For participants entering CES, provide a warm handoff to the appropriate population’s program for sustained case management services when possible-Work with a diverse and marginalized groups experiencing many barriers including homelessness, complex trauma, medical concerns, mental health needs, substance use, and more-Assist with connection to Community College Resources, Financial Aid, and other resources/opportunities tailored towards Community College Students-Assist participant with linkage to community resources, including but not limited to appropriate medical, mental health, substance abuse providers, as well as recuperative care, food, clothing, transportation resources, benefits establishment, vocational resources, and employment to increase income-Participate in Campus Peer Navigator Learning Community meetings, LACOE, Higher Education and Homeless Workgroups, CES, and LAHSA meetings, activities, and events
