The world has produced over 9 billion tons of plastic in the last 50 years, and more than TWO THIRDS of this is now in our environment. On average, less than 10 percent of the 450 million tons of plastic produced every year is recycled. While there are terrific initiatives around the world to move away from plastic to bio-degradable alternatives, that change will likely take some time. In the meanwhile, our planet is increasingly beginning to look like a giant ball wrapped in clingfilm. The only thing that is growing at an equally exponential pace is our adoption of social media platforms. As a student member of the National Junior Honor Society, I am actively involved in a variety of community-building activities in and around the City of Allen.

Toys for Texans is a nonprofit organization aimed at providing toys and books to children across the state of Texas. As Partnership Revenue Officer, I am responsible for driving revenue generation through partnerships and sponsorships. My day to day responsibilities include - Identifying and reaching out to potential partner organizations and local businesses to explore collaboration opportunities that will help promote our mission; Working closely with the leadership team to contribute to the overall financial health and sustainability of our venture.
