I have recently relocated to Virginia and am looking for administrative assistant work. As Director, I was responsible for 28+ years managing a very successful business, dealing primarily with financially secure, young families. All marketing, financial budgeting, employee hiring and retention, event planning, informing of new trends in the field, and implementing changes was solely my responsibility. Created and maintained website, FB, IG, Pinterest. Running this department included an 88 licensed-capacity preschool, and multiple other programs, including parent education, interactions with multiple other departments, large event planning, etc. Contact and interaction with over 100+ parents per week, 10 other department heads, multiple levels of staff, and various inspectors was a routine occurrence. I was also responsible for the safety and security of over 100 children each week.I am definitely a "think out of the box" type of person, and finding solutions to problems or potential problems is actually very satisfying to me. I maintain a cool, confident persona under all circumstances.Yearly Events involved community participation, donations, budgeting, coordination of all volunteers, paid employees, logistics, city workers, police department, menus, and all marketing materials.
