-Led 3 research projects including developing triggered degradable bioadhesives (polyurethane, polyester, bio-cleavable polyvinyl, polysaccharide based), nanoparticles used in theranostics, and bioinks (polyelectrolyte complexes and pre-gelled vinyl/ethylene glycol oligomer based) used in functional scaffold fabrication by 3D printers for the application of wound healing, blood vessel reconstruction, bone regeneration, and cancer model development. Develop python-based imaging processing codes for large scale feature extraction, object detection/recognition/classification from immunofluorescence images and histology staining images. Co-author of 8 peer-reviewed papers in top journals.

-Developed encapsulation of phase-changing materials and water-insoluble drugs with improved encapsulation yield and size constancy. Established characterization protocols.
