I joined ONVU Tech when Screen Library was absorbed to create ONVU Learning. I was tasked with leading the product team. The product team as a consolidated group, create and drive the product roadmap and existing portfolio for all of the ONVU Technologies subsidiaries including Oncam. ONVU Learning and ONVU Retail. I joined with Harry Hobson to found a social enterprise to develop technology to enable primary schools to run pupil-centred pair-ups with schools in the developing world. School links which enable the students to directly make friends, collaborate and develop together.It was a joy to watch young people be given the chance to find out for them selves about another part of the world and see friendships develop where it would seem impossible.

I led the technology and delivery of all of the Screen Library businesses; driving product innovation, design, development and acquisition. I managed system requirement analysis, project delivery and implementation as well as installation and technical support.I also looked after the software team who are responsible for the delivery of the software to drive our innovative products, and the Technology roadmap and approach for the company.Screen Library was a digital media company. We brought together technologies and professional services in order to develop products which facilitate the creation, acquisition, management and use of digital media in a variety of industries. The use of our products and services within education was our largest growth area. Our flagship product and the eventual driver for the move to ONVU Tech was Lesson Capture a unique 360 degree area capture system which allowed teachers a retrospective view of their entire classroom. This unique view means they can recall moments or full lessons for personal development, to share with others for CPD and to share with Students who might have missed a lesson or as prep for a future lesson or even with other schools as examples of best practice. www.lessoncapture.com has more.

I am contracted to consult on the specification, design, infrastructure and build methods for the School Vid platform. I will also be contracting and leading the development of the product.Gazoob has sold SchoolVID - My and my teams involvement with this project continues working for Digital Learning Delivery the new owner through Online Apps Co my development company.

A great follow on to the Olympics. I once again joined the Getty Images Major Events team to deliver the technology infrastructure for the photography team on the red carpet and inside the 2013 Academy Awards Show in LA.

Job of a lifetime - It was an offer I could not refuse, the opportunity for front row access to the greatest Olympics in the greatest City in the world. I will never forget 2012. Working within the Getty Images Major Events team to deliver the technology infrastructure for the photography team at all of the 26 venues of the 2012 Games. Designing and building state of the art robotic camera control boxes and remote firing systems for static remote cameras along with remote networking for image retrieval. Logistics, cabling and network infrastructure for cameras, photographers and image editors in places including the roof of the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre and extended networks at remote locations such as Greenwich Park. The time included specific support at key moments where speed of delivery is essential such as Opening and Closing ceremonies, 100m final and key Team GB Gold medals.A true honour to be part of 2012 and a privilege to have such a great view of the action for the 2 weeks.
